Essential Oil Uses

So you’ve started your oily journey. You’ve explored your new starter kit. You’ve even signed up for Essential Rewards! Your oily cabinet is getting so full!

If you are anything like me, when you jump into something, you don’t just jump…you cannonball with arms flapping wildly in the breeze, screaming at the top of your lungs! For me that meant getting all the oils I saw recommended on various blogs to use in various recipes. It didn’t take long before I had a shelf full of oils that I couldn’t remember why I ordered…and now had no idea what to use them for.

So then I started ordering books. Lots of oily books! (Someday in the near future I will compile a book list along with reviews. Then you can order lots of books too!) Again, I cannonball…this time into books. I studied uses, history, chemistry, and even some interesting ideas about the secret life of plants. We’ll save that for another post though. I really wanted to learn to be a good steward of these gifts that God has given me and my family. I wanted to use these oils to the best of my ability.

And so I would like to take all of this new knowledge combined with some of my old knowledge and a few helpful oily blogs, and help you learn to use all of the lesser-known oils hiding in the back of your oily cabinet.

If you’re a newbie to essential oils, I will also include some of the more commonly used oils. Check back often. I will add new posts as I am able.

I’ll start with the starter kit oils. These come in the Young Living Premium Starter Kit. If you’re not sure how to get in on this great deal, click HERE to find out.
